Your data lives on your phone first.

KairSun is used without an account. What you log stays on the device; the cloud is optional: creating an account turns sync on for every module, and you can turn them off one by one. And the exit door —export and delete— is always open, free, and without login.

Local-first

What lives on your phone

The phone is the source of truth while you use the app signed out. You can have a full day of Flow, care for your pet, and watch the tree grow without creating an account.

Your notes, meals, and photos also live here. Photos you attach to a note, a meal, or your profile are not uploaded to any server, not even for backup: if you uninstall the app or change phones, they don't travel.

Cloud opt-in

What only leaves if you say so

Nothing leaves the phone by default. This is what can travel, and always because you turn it on or send it.

The complete detail, provider by provider, is in the Privacy Policy (Spanish). We don't sell your data or publish your content.

Your data, your copies

Export everything as JSON, no login

Download my data

In Settings → Your data → Download my data the app builds a readable JSON file with all your tables —water, mood, routines, notes, meals, skills, achievements, preferences, and more— plus format metadata. It doesn't ask you to sign in because the data belongs to the device.

Trimmed, illustrative example of the file's shape; this is not your data.

The only thing of yours left out is your profile photo: it's a JPEG on disk, not a row, and the file keeps its path, not the image. The internal sync queue is skipped so you don't see duplicate records. Export and delete are free, today and later.

Local vs cloud

The same app, two places

Move your view and see what happens to the data in each case. The cloud isn't hidden: creating an account turns everything on, and you can turn modules off one by one.

Diagram view: no account or opt-in cloud
Without an account, only the phone column exists. The cloud appears only if you create an account.
What On your phone In the cloud · opt-in
Water, mood, routines, skills, and notes Always: it's the source of truth Creating an account syncs everything; you can turn modules off
Profile, meal, and note photos Always Never: not uploaded, not even for backup
Progress, achievements, and game economy Always If you enable an account, to recover them when you change phones
JSON export Always, no login Not needed: it comes from the device
Delete From the app, in two steps Immediate and irreversible; encrypted backups for up to 30 days

Seeds and Suns are not money. KairSun is not a medical device.

Danger zone

Delete your account, in two steps

Delete account

It's a button that is always available: you don't need to write to us or explain anything. Deletion is immediate and irreversible and takes both the cloud data and the phone data.

  1. Open Settings → Account → Delete account.
  2. Read the warning and confirm by typing DELETE MY ACCOUNT. If you want to keep something, export first: there is no way back afterwards.

Encrypted backup copies may persist for up to 30 days and then delete themselves through rotation. See the deletion page.

Control stays on your side.

Local-first isn't a loose feature: it's how the app is built. If you want the complete legal detail, it's written and one click away.
